Fleetville Harmony is a small a cappella choir with about 20 members.

We include pop classics, swing, world music, traditional arrangements and home-grown compositions in our repertoire. We perform at local community events and often for charities.

Fleetville is a part of St Albans that developed when printing works moved here from Fleet Street in London in the late 19th century. The name derived from that.

The term a capella means singing without instrumental accompaniment or ‘unaccompanied’. Literally it means ‘in the chapel’ and comes from religious unaccompanied singing.
